Pat said he would post something either tonight or tomorrow. As of right now I talked with him tonight and we are planing on meeting at the Paxson Lodge at 0930 still. We will make decision on either summit or heading down the Highway toward MaClaren depending on snow conditions.

The plan is to meet at Paxon Lodge at 9:30. If there is new snow I plan on riding at Summit, However if there is not I plan on going down the Denali Highway to find unused snow. I will make that decision Saturday morning based on snow conditions. I think Denali Highway is the more likely scenario.

This looks like it will be a Saturday day ride only.

Any count of how many are going to attend this ride that way we know how many to wait for at the Paxson Lodge? I do know there are 4 of us so far in my truck.

Great Ride!!! Rode out to Maclaren and hit alot of the hills on the way out to and from. There were only 3 of us and it turned out great. Didn't finish riding until almost 6 p.m. Pat shredded his belt toward the end of the day and I lost my HiFax due to the trail conditions, but that didn't slow us down. Very tired today and sore lol.

Lost track of leader numerous times due to not having the Floresent Orange FST vest LMAO!! (j/J)

John,
You could ride off the trail but for about a 10 mile stretch the conditions were crappy both on and off the road. Once you get to finger lakes area it got better then real good after that.

You going down Easter weekend or next week, the 10th ?

The 10th is Arcticman, so I hope they still have some snow :e_smile:

But there should be some either one.

John I was thinking of the weekend after Artic Man, a little less people.
Reading the posts it looks like a lot of the snow is already gone.
I might just ride the Denali Hwy. for a few miles and stay in the motor home at night now its warm.
