The ride is between 39 and 42 miles one way to Windy Gap Cabin (length depends on what map you read). We'll have a lunch break at the cabin, but not with the Cat Kitchen as scheduled, the hitch isn't ready yet :(
This is a fairly easy ride (not like the the one to Angle Creek, much easier) with one exception, a short section thats a couple hundred feet, that changes each year.
