Central Yukon Resource Management Plan (RMP).

#1 Post by john » Wed Oct 23, 2013 5:47 am

The Yukon Resource area includes the Tanana Flats and Delta areas.
The Central Yukon RMP will provide future direction for approximately 16 million acres of BLM-administered public land in central and northern Alaska including the Dalton Highway Corridor and central Yukon River watershed.

At this meeting, you will have a chance to learn about the planning process as well as discuss options and ask questions. This is an opportunity to express your views and identify issues. We want to know: What activities should take place on the land in the future?

We hope to see you at the Fairbanks Public Meeting on Monday, Oct 28th at the Morris Thompson Cultural Center (101 Dunkle Street). There will be an Open House from 4:00 – 7:00pm followed by a Presentation on the Project at 7:00 pm.

For more information, please contact Jeanie Cole, Team Lead, at (907) 474-2340 or at CentralYukon@blm.gov Please share this email with anyone you think may be interested!

For special meeting needs related to disabilities, please contact Angel Rabon (907) 261-9723.
