If the weather reports hold true it's suppose to be 5 to 10 above Saturday. That'll be a nice change.
Although the trail is borderline on snow fall, there is enough to make the run. I rode the Winter trail from Chena Lakes to mile 29 CHSR Dec 30th, so it should be OK to go this coming Sat.

Is this a "pack your own lunch" ride. or is there a lodge at Angel Creek where we are all going to eat?

At the lakes, COE office at 10:00 AM
Gas is available at Two River store.
Annette is expecting at Angle Creek Lodge for lunch around 1:00 PM.
Ride RT is about 100 miles depending on the way we go, maybe a bit shorter maybe longer.

I want thank everyone for being so helpful and kind and for helping load my friends machine on his trailer Saturday on the Angle creek ride.
it was bad enough that he had an accident i'm still not sure what happened but it sure sheared the ski right off that Skidoo.
Thanks again

he is ok thanks for asking but his sled is toast for a while, it seems he hit something in the trail and it kinda slamed him forward
and he hit the throttle and went air born right into a tree.
He has been ridding 20 years very good rider. Its just one of those freak things.
He has insurance so shoude get it fixed all up soon.

David, Glad to help.
It was a long and greuling ride. We made it there and back but I'm hurting and know other are as well.
In a nut shell, the trails from Chena Lakes to around Colorado Creek and a couple miles up river of the Colorado Creek Trail were pretty decent, from that point on it was the ride from HE double LL, overflow, low snow, lots of stumps and hard bumps.
I'll do a ride report with more fun details later
