If I am not mistaken, this is the same location of the Gilmore-Cleary realignment we discussed at the Trails Advisory Commission...right Larry?
The trail in the area is slated for protection!

This is west of the Fort Knox Pit. Check it out here:

They are already drilling west of the trail and NOAA power and com. line on Mental Health Trust land.

As I understand it, the trail re-alignment is protected and shouldn't be affected by the mine's work.
Me thinks we need to verify this and keep them honest :<)
