Sounds good, I will also try to be there around 830. Should be getting light out as we're driving up to the trailhead.

If you plan to eat, might need to be at Hill Top by 8:00 to leave at 9:00. It'll take an hour to get to 57.

Yes that's true, anyone that is wanting to eat should try to get there earlier. We will heading out from hilltop at 9am or very shortly after, try not to leave anyone behind. Then go see if we can make some tracks on these rock hard trails! :grtruckn:

Change of plans, we'll meet you at 57 Mile by 10:00 or sooner.

Ride should be about 72 miles total.

Was there snow over the Cache divide?
And how did the Beaver Creek crossings look?

We didn't go over the Cache Divide, turned back towards the rigs at Windy Gap Cabin. But it looked like it lacked snow higher up on the tops.

Lots of over flow on the trail south of Windy Gap Cabin on the Fossile Creek trail.

Trail was pretty hard pack most of the ride, found some great powder a few miles before the caribou Bluff cabin trail and also down by Beaver Creek where we took a wrong turn :)

Riding over the summits on the Big Bend trail was like riding on concrete :(

Yup, I'm official now! It was a long day and ride, but hoped everyone enjoyed it! I had a good time! Hope everyone made it home safe, the roads were a little slick up on the Elliott.
