Just wanted to start a thread on this ride in March. I've made my reservations for this ride. Put me on the going list.

I too think I will do this ride need the info to sign up could not find anything here I know March 8th is a date cited need more

It is March 8-9th. You have to call Alpine Creek Lodge to reserve your room. The Phone number is 907-743-0565. When I reserved my room she said everyone so far had only done the one night. Just mention you are coming in with the Fairbanks Snow Travelers and you will get the discount. I'm getting a bunk in one of the rooms for $60. I don't know the time line of when we will depart Cantwell to ride down the Denali Highway to the lodge on Saturday. It's still quit a ways out, so I'm sure more info will be forthcoming.

I got one of the dry cabins for Tyler and I, plan to ride in Saturday AM. So Larry is our coordinator as to what time where to meet in Cantwell.

Its about a 2-2 and a half hour ride in from Cantwell depending how fast you go. Melissa and I have done it in a hour and a half but thats averaging 50+. We were out there a couple weekends ago. The highway has been groomed and is in great shape. Out by the lodge and a few miles east of the lodge the snow off the highway is deep deep deep, 5 ft plus! But I wont be participating since I will be doing Trek over the top. Hope y'all have a blast!

I think it is time to revive this post again. We will meet at 9AM at the turn out/parking area on the Denali hiway in from Cantwell. I have been told it is about 8 miles in from the Parks. I am going down on Friday and staying at the Backwoods Lodge (1-800-292-2232). They put in the room next to John, could be interesting. If you are still interested in going the number for the Alpine Creek Lodge is : 907-743-0565.
Let me know whom is coming so I can know when the day arrives.

Parking lot is about 3 miles in from the Parks hwy, can't miss it!

OK, I'm in. Called the lodge for a reservation, was told just come on out we'll find a spot for you. Will bring the toboggan to haul whatever.

Dawn and I will ride and overnight. I have a small Otter sled and can carry some gear.
