Fairbanks Snow Travelers

I will be heading down to Cant well this Sunday for a day trip. There is 6 of us as of now. If anyone else is interested feel free to give me a shout.

I have them in 3 headers, Paul's Pics, Sat 3/20, and Sun 3/21 pics. I also included a picture image of the track Tyler and I took Sunday, pretty easy actually, just down the mine rd (rough as a cob) to the river, north to mine road on west side of river and then up to the Golden Zone Mine.

If you decide to go east, behind the Igloo, keep going past where we went Sat, per Topo, it drops off into a big valley that is the continuation of the East Fork Chulitna and looks like it opens up pretty good.

We were down there 2 weeks ago and got the crap beat out of us on the mine trail in the morning. In the afternoon we headed way back behind the Igloo and found miles of open snow to play in.

I will let you know how it goes when we get back.

whos leading the next cantwell ride

If you want I would be happy to show others where to go this Sunday. I don't think it will be an official club ride though.

I am leading the club ride on the 26th providing there is still snow.

As for this weekend good luck as they havent gotten any new snow and it is pretty well used up there.
