This news minor article was great. iIhave a question if anyone can help.
When the wife and I went to the races we were surprised to see all the motor vehicles that were there and out through the gate,
How did everyone find out they could drive out there?
Was it posted here or some other place?
Dave

The Corp of Engineers let's us drive down there every year for the races.

Info to get there was passed out at the COE building during racer sign up and the signs we had out. It could of been better marked now that I think of it and the questions from others as to "where are the races".

We'll do better next year.

FYI, you can always drive up the ramp and down the other side, its open to the general public for parking. But the gates that they had open to get on the floodway are normally closed and locked. So if you wanted to, you could haul your rig and sleds down there, off load sled, ride them through the 4 foot wide bullords and then ride in the floodway, assuming there's enough snow.

Side Note: it can get pretty slick from ice some times.

Ok thanks John,
I wanted to bring my grandaughters but thought it was to cold to ride from badger gas area. Any way the wife and I had a good time and rode some.

Thanks everyone
