Well, gun owners, if they don’t come for your guns first- they may be coming for your ammunition supply. The Ammunition Accountability Act is now proposed legislation in the 18 red-colored states @ http://www.ammunitionaccountability.com/, and if adopted, would make all ammunition sold in the US marked and traceable. According to the lobbying group:
Of course, the technology owners stand to make a huge pile if this one gets through! The legislation is being pitched as a crime-fighting tool- which, no doubt it would be, but it sure smacks of Big Brother. If you live in one of the states above, you may want to call and write your state legislature representatives and try to put the kabosh on this one. http://www.ammunitionaccountability.com/ has the details of each state’s bill numbers, etc., under the “Legislation” tab. You who aren’t in one of the 18 states better keep a close eye out, because the organization is already targeting you too.
