I've attached a letter from the AOC to BLM on the AHTNA issue.

The LetterThe attached letter was just faxed to K.J. Mushovic, BLM's Anchorage
Office. When asking for her fax number we noted that the BLM website
said the nomination deadline was Friday, May 16. K.J. said: Yes, the
deadline has been extended. While in Fairbanks we realized we needed to
get to Cantwell to take concerns of people there, too.
So the following comments were hand written onto the attached letter.
"4/21/08 - I just learned from you by phone that the deadline is now May
15, '08"
"P.S. I appreciate the comment period extension. I do think May 28
would be better, though."
