We have plenty of snow, temp. is 23 and it is windy. DOT has plowed the Fairbanks Creek Road from the Steese for 3/4 of mile to the trailhead at the junction of the Fish Creek and Fairbanks Creek Roads. They have also plowed the parking area at the trailhead. Should be great riding!

Unable to get to Twin Butts to much brush in the trail after Coffee Dome. Rebroke trail from Coffee Dome towards start of Fairbanks to Circle trail. Got to top of hill between two points talked about above but turn around at top of hill, alone on a short track chicken out un sure of trail. Checked on trail to Skip Cache did not look broke out down Tranmitter site road. Fort Knox did make it easier to cross their mine road at points but beware of trucks there ain't no way they will stop in time is you mess up in front of one them

We rode the Alpha C Site Trail from Cleary Summit to Fish Creek yesterday. It's great. We took snow scoops and filled in the approaches to Fish Creek. We did not cross with our sleds as we want to give it a day or two to set up. Later this week we'll probably break it out at least as far as Iowa Dome.

Friends of ours rode the Circle Trail to mile 14 yesterday. That is where it splits with the trail to Sorrells Creek. They said it was also great. I was out that far two or three weeks ago and it was great.

The Red Trail to Chatanika is fine. The Orange trail from the Chatanika Lodge to the Elliot Highway has been groomed by the crew at Chatanika. We are waiting for parts for our groomer and hope that we will have it running sometime this week. The water pump went out three weeks ago and I am waiting for a rebuilt one to arrive.
