Trails/Arctic Man

Hello everyone,
Things have been getting busy down here with the warmer weather and longer day light.
The groomed road is a HUGE success. Everyone is enjoying being able to cruse in here and not get beat to death. We have had a lot of people say that they would rather ride 42 miles like it is now, then 22 miles the way it was last year. So if your worried about the extra mileage, come give it a try, you'll be impressed.
I did get some good news about the Fielding Lake area. We had some guys come over from there last night, and they said that the new snow we got last week has not blown away, and that it should be easy to put the trail in over there. So if everything goes right down here, I'll start again Wed or Thurs.
We are looking for a volunteer to help out during Arctic Man. We need someone that can stay over at summit and check people in for the Poker run , and then take the numbers and check people back in when they get back from here. If anyone is interested, Please let me know and I'll give you more info.
A word of caution, PLEASE be careful and slow down when your approaching blind corners on the road. There are two corners too watch out for, one at Tangle Lakes camp grounds, and the other at 35 mile.
Being as the road is so smooth, it is going to be easy to get going too fast and cheat on these corners. Please be careful, we don't want to put a damper on everyone fun by having an accident.
Until next time,
Alan and Susie Echols
