Jan 24th Ride

#1 Post by john »

Guess I need to post on the ride, since I'm leading this one... So, before we get lost, we'll be having breakfast at Chatanika Lodge @ 9:00 , eat and go unload at 42 Mile.

This is a Family / Advanced ride. Its not that hard of a ride to Cache Mountain Cabin, but it will be rough considering the temps we've.

Beyond the cabin into Windy Gap will be a tougher ride and thus the "advanced" part.

Bring a lunch and water along with you. Depending on how the trails conditions actually are, we may or may not go on to Windy Gap. I'm hoping we do make it :e_smile: As long as we aren't riding on ice the whole way.

Well I'm torn as to go or not, but what the heck, let's meet at Chatanika for breakfast and we'll decide from there.

So we may or may not make it to 42 mile, if nothing else we can ride out of Chatanika.

See ya in the morning.

John

Is the trail pretty bad? I'm hearing about some strong winds for higher summits.

I've heard of high winds in the summits, not to bad today I was told and is suppose to get better tonight / tomorrow

Lets have breakfast and go from there. If we meet at Chatanika we can always make a change to our riding area.
