CHANGE OF PLANS for this weekends ride to Japanese Hills. The snow conditions in that area are not very good and there are some rocks exposed. I have decided that the ride for this Saturday (March 9th) will be to Clear Creek Buttes. For the most part, this is an easy ride on established trails, that will take you into the back country of the Tanana flats. There will be open fields that we will pass, for those that want to add a little more excitement to their ride. If the conditions are good, we may go to the top of the buttes.
Plan on departing the Chena Landing Wayside (Tanana River boat launch) at 10:00am. Bring food or snacks for this ride. Total distance will be around 40 miles.
