Ride report Dec. 13th / Chena lakes.

#1 Post by Stoney »

We started out with 20 people, 18 sleds. We had a few tumbles and ended up with 12 sleds. The ride was a little cool, -10. Not many miles, but ok for what snow we have. The fire drum and cookout was great. We all stood around the fire drum looking like a bunch of Emperor penguins in Antarctica. I gave Nick Schwartz the card from my camera, hope he can post a few of the photos. All in all I hope everyone that rode had some fun. :fluffly: STONEY.

Stoney, we had fun while it lasted for us. A sore neck and bum ankle, but everyone will be fine after a few days of motrin! Thanks to everyone who stepped up afte Lisa and Meredith departed the sled. Can't wait for the next ride.

Sorry for the very late delay with uploading these  ...had issues with my computer being able to read SD cards. But here are some photos from the December 13th Chena Lakes ride...which focused on the trails east of the dam and around the Eielson gravel pit.
