Loading Ramp @ Cleary Summit
Went out to Cleary Summit today and rode around the Fairbanks Creek area.
While there I discovered that the Snow Travelers Ramp was damaged and in need of repairs.
I can fix the ramp portion (which is where the damaged occurred) but it'll require 2 full sheets of treated CDX and some deck screws. I have the deck screws.
Does anyone have any treated CDX they would be willing to donate or will the club (board) be willing to purchase the 2 sheets for the repairs.
I'm planning to go back up next Saturday (Nov 2) to do the repairs.
Thanks.

Prefer 3/4, but 1/2 would work if I leave whats left of the old sheets on.

Having not seen it, 3/4 CDX would be good if it can be attached to existing to make a replaceable surface. If there is enough there to attach to. I can get the CDX and help.
Don't know where the ramp is, maybe breakfast before hand?

Re: Loading Ramp @ Cleary Summit
Thanks Larry,
3/4 on top of the current would be the best solution. I did some repairs to it a couple years ago and those are holding well, just has a few holes.
What needs to be done:
1. Re-surface the ramp
2. Remove the attaching 2 by that secures the ramp to deck and reattach it to the ramp portion and then reattach to the deck.
Will take CDX as noted and deck screws. Will need a *beep* gun and socket set for tools, maybe a hammer. I have the tools and deck screws.
Saturday (Nov 2nd) I have plans for the morning and early afternoon. Could meet you around 4:00 PM to do the repairs. Shouldn't be more than 30 to 60 minutes to complete.
Do you want to bring the material up and should I picked it up from you during the week. ?

The parking lot on Cleary Summit, on the road to your right just before you turn left into Fairbanks Creek Lodge.

Thanks Wes, we already have a groomer going to the area with Kerry. Might want to get together with him, helps to have another sled along when you first pull the drag.

How much snow if any is up at Cleary , thought about another trip to grouse hunt but may not if you have snow???
