No end in sight!
Rode from summit to Chisna on Saturday. nice to get out the wind at Summit. Snow really good in Chisna area total 75 miles. Sunday east and south of Wolverine in the trees, Blowing hard at summit little or no wind on the flanks of wolverine.
State has not work on the Denali Hwy can still only drive in 5 mile.
Seen ptarmigan every day, Sheep on the out crop close to road at north end of rainbow, Seagulls flying through over summit lake, lynx, hawk at Shaw creek.
It could stay like this for couple of months I hate summer.

Come up here, we've gotten 2 or 3 new inches today. Marg and I drove to 12 Mile Summit yesterday. Not a single open spot on the Chatanika. The US Creek Road looks quite good for sledding.

Been riding last two days. Found the trail in good shape here off Nordale and been riding from the house. Trails holding out fine.

Re: No end in sight!
Margaret and I rode to the Lodge last evening for dinner. Circle and Ridge Trails in great shape. Ridge to ditch a bit rough, ditch to Chatanika fine. I suspect the Whites up US Creek Road into Nome Creek should be great. We haven't had any wind since this new 8 inches came.

That's not right. I was thinking about doing Fairbanks creek this weekend. Bummer.
Wouldn't mind doing a 2 to 4 hour trail/hills ride somewhere Saturday near Fairbanks. If anyone is interested.
