Downloading photos

#1 Post by paulneva »

John,

Ann has some great photos from our Maclaren ride that I would like to use and share. I can view the big versions and download the thumnails but can't figure out how to download the big versions. Any suggestions?

Yeah. let me know which ones you want and I'll email them to you.

The new system is designed to prevent the stealing of photos by others, not that anyone would :)

Agreed, but the new system does have a pictures anti-piracy function built in. I'm not using the whole function, just a small part of it that limits the size of the images that one could download.

If I was really concerned about it I'd setup the part that would embed each image with "FAIRBANKS SNOW TRAVELERS" across the middle of any picture downloaded in alight colored text.

But like you, I figure if we post an image on the club web site its open, if not copyrighted by the poster. One of the aspects of the WWW.

It's "NOT" okay to steal pictures? Durn, I thought that was why they were here!
