...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM AKST
FRIDAY...

* SNOW...4 TO 7 INCHES.

* TIMING...1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL FROM
FAIRBANKS NORTH AND WEST THIS EVENING BEFORE DIMINISHING
OVERNIGHT. SNOW WILL DEVELOP AGAIN EARLY FRIDAY MORNING AND
CONTINUE THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING. AN ADDITIONAL 3 TO 5 INCHES OF
SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER THE FAIRBANKS AREA FRIDAY.

Since there is no real base yet, how much snow needs to fall before you'll ride? :singing:

...SNOW CONTINUING THROUGH SATURDAY...

STORM TOTAL SNOWFALLS AROUND FAIRBANKS AT 6AM FRIDAY WERE:

FAIRBANKS AIRPORT 4.6 INCHES
COLLEGE OBSERVATORY 4.4 INCHES
COLLEGE HILLS 5.3 INCHES
BIRCH HILL 5.2 INCHES
SOUTH FOX 4.0 INCHES
MUCH LIGHTER AMOUNTS OCCURRED EAST OF FORT WAINWRIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW CONTINUES ACROSS THE AREA THIS MORNING. SNOW IS
EXPECTED TO BECOME HEAVIER BY THIS AFTERNOON AND REMAIN HEAVIER
THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY. AN ADDITIONAL 4 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW IS
EXPECTED ACROSS THE FAIRBANKS NORTH STAR BOROUGH BY THE TIME THE
SNOW TAPERS OFF SATURDAY AFTERNOON.

The next 4 to 6 inches work for me :fluffly:

Figure we had a small base to 2 to 3 inches, maybe give it a day or two to settle down.

Got about 5 inches Chena Hot spring and Nordale Road area. Need more before first run, unless its on a lake.
