The meeting opened at 1900.

Members present were Tim Berg, Larry Morris, Paul Renschen, Steven Enoch, Stoney Robertson, Myles Thomas, Darrell Bohn, Dick Ritchie, Steve Miresse, Michael Woolace, Michael Armstrong, Nick Billstrom, Glenn Little, Steve Ellis, James Shill, Andrew Shill, Michael Canady, Nigill Wappen, Dave Oliver, Ingrid Oliver, Alan Dwoerlk, Juan Goula, John Lubben, Matt Reece, Gayle Recce, Dave Lekoske, Jimmy Cievitt and Alan Compare.

Larry Morris reported that we have $1,711.56 in checking, $1,417.88 in savings and $1,256.86 in the Life Members' account.

There were four new members present. Tim had them introduce themselves. All of them are from or connected to Eielson AFB.

Shawn Osborne from Ft. Wainwright gave a presentation on USARTRAK. He showed us how to register, sign in and what kinds of information are available. There was considerable discussion about a closure on Donley Dome during moose season last fall. Sean was asked about the new bridge. He said it is gated and if we could get across it we would find ourselves in thick black spruce with no trails.

Tim talked about the 2-4 January Tolovana ride. There are three cabins that will sleep 12 each with room for two more. He will pay for them now but needs commitments with payment.(A number of members were huddled with Tim after the meeting.) Check the website for additional information. Myles offered to open his cabins on Deadman Lake again on April 4-5. James Shill offered to lead a ride on 7 February. Stoney said we need more ride leaders in December.

There was a discussion about the News Letter. Crystal, who has edited it for years, has moved. She will continue to do it from Arizona until January, after that we will need a new editor. We may have to go to all digital soon.

Steven Enoch talked about SnowTrack, what it is and what he has done on the board. He said there will be an opening in March and encouraged someone from FST to step up.

There was a report on the Winter Show. We do not have a count on the number of new members. We had 34 total sign up as counted by the tickets entered in the drawing. All who worked the booth reported being busy. We were approached by two organizations that want to give presentations at our December and January meeting. It was suggested that we invite Goeff Orth to tell us about his efforts to reopen Ester Valley at our November meeting.

The meeting adjourned at 2030.
