Peter opened the meeting at 1805. All the board members were present but Stoney. Dick Bishop of the Alaska Outdoor Council was also present.

Dick talked about an Ahatna co-management bill that Don Young has introduced. Co-management will be federal-Ahatna with no State role. It furthers the Ahtna agenda.

Larry reported that we have $1,469.53 in checking, $1,416.82 in savings, and $1,255.95 in Life Member savings.

Dick paid his dues and we filled out the papers making Dick our representative at the annual Alaska Outdoor Council meeting. Considerable discussion followed about point of sale registration, 4-wheeler registration, trail-head fees and access problems.

Jody reported on the Rondy. All tracks are in. CoE has done a great job. Money from the radar runs will stay with the Lions. Money from the pee pot will go to the trails fund.

I reported on my 1 March Tanana Flats ride. Four of 12 riders were new to FST. Three took membership applications.

Steven talked about getting more riders from Ft. Wainwright and Eielson through MWR.

Steven offered his decks at 1311 Dolphin Way for an end of season potluck/cookout on 18 May and asked the board to come by and look at it.

Larry reported a bridge collapse on Goldstream Creek.

Meeting adjourned at 1950.

You missed that Larry mentioned the ride into Alpine Creek Lodge and Peter said something inappropriate about it. :rolf:
