Coal Mine Trail Sept 12-14

September 12-14th Coal Mine Trail Ride. This is our last official ATV club ride for the year. To get there, drive to Delta Junction. Turn right onto the Richardson Hwy and then turn left just before the mile post 236 sign. This is the pipeline access road with brown lettering marking their road. I hope to have a couple of FST signs posted, since you cannot see the campsite from the road. This is a secluded gravel pit with large piles stacked all around, and trees to the back side. It is somewhat protected from the winds in the area. We will be riding on the pipeline ROW to get to the trailhead. The trails are muddy in certain areas with lots of deep water that you can mostly drive around. On Saturday night, we will have a chili cook off. There will be prizes awarded for the top three, so give it your best shot. (Sorry, can chili is not acceptable).
