My wife and I plan to go on our first ride with the group saturday. Can someone tell me the expected ride time. We just want to give our kid sitting friends an estimate. Thanks!

Hill top at 9:00 AM, leave after breakfast around 10:00, get to 28 Mile Elliott around 10:30

Ride should be about 5 hours without issue. I always say without issue in case someone breaks down then it may be longer.

You should be home by around 5 or 6 PM maybe sooner.

Should be nice tomorrow
Wickersham Creek Trail – This trail is in very good condition after grooming on Jan. 26. The Beaver Creek crossing by Borealis has been solid for the past month. Overflow is present in the usual places past Eleazars.
White Mountains trail conditions update: All of the White Mountains trails have now been broken or groomed, and conditions remain very good throughout the trail system, with plenty of snow and minimal overflow ice (aufeis). The trailheads are plowed, though the McKay Creek Trailhead needs more work (scheduled for Monday). A complete listing of trail conditions for specific White Mountains trails is available on the BLM website at https://bit.ly/WMtrails.

BLM photo by Tim DuPont shows repairs to a trail marker as the BLM crew broke trail over Cache Mountain Divide last week.

I'm planning on meeting up with you to go on my first ride with the Snowtravelers. I first found the site in 2011, but work schedule and life got in the way and I haven't made a meeting or ride yet. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

How many miles do you think we'll run? My machine is pretty thirsty, even with an extra two gallons my range is probably 105 miles.
