The ride started at 10:00am, after most of us had breakfast at Hilltop. There were 5 of us, 3 Ski-Doos, 1 Cat, 1 Polaris. The temp. was fine but cool in the valleys. Boyd kept his title as tree hugger, as seen in the photos Tim posted on this site. We took a side trip to the old HI-YU mine. It was built in 1916, it's a stamp mill. We rode over to Chatanika Lodge, for a break and light lunch. We took the trail from Chatanika, to the Elliott, by way of Olnes Pond. After a 65 mile ride we were back at Hilltop by 5:00pm. No real problems, other than Shauns Ski-Doo over heating, and Boyds Ski-Doo trying to find a shortcut down to Dome Cr. Thanks Tim for posting the photos.
