Can you post the ride schedule on the day we leave? I.E. what time we are meeting at Sams sourdough and what time we are departing Murphy Dome. Had some people asking.

As someone who does at least 1 fly-out hunting trip each year, I've become a bit of a geek making equipment lists to check off, so I don't forget anything. I typed out my equipment list and attached it to this message. I'm sure you all have different stuff you're bringing, but thought this might be helpful.

On the food, I've listed the food items as I remembered them from our meeting.

Questions
- Do we need a chainsaw? We may want to have a fire, and we can't use the supplied wood for firewood. If not a chainsaw, then some type of handsaw?
- Should we bring paper plates & plastic fork/spoons - less dishes to wash
- The website says to haul in water for dishes. That's a lot of weight we can avoid if we use paper plates & dishes.

Thanks - looking forward to the trip. Rode in the Goldstream Valley by my house this past weekend - we sure need some more snow.

Thanks James good list! I will have an ax and small saw could bring chain saw (will see how full the sled is) and will bring some paper plates. We should burn as much trash as possible to reduce the back haul. I will have a Spot tracker and a aviation Radio some one is bringing a sat phone also.

Steve You have a lot of time to heal up and it is an easy trail ride out there.

Do we need to haul water Tim? Seems like a lot of weight we can avoid.

Hey James. Tom here.
We have stayed at the Tolovana cabins quite a few times. You do not need to bring water. They are asking you to haul hot water from the Hot Springs to the cabin to wash your dishes. (And NOT heat water with their propane) There is lots of hot water! There is also fresh spring water nearby.
If you have any questions you can call me.

is there anyway someone could make a gps trail for me so I can go next month, I rode in last year and fairly confident I could find it but would suck to get lost out there and not make it, just like the river entrance, then on the dunbar and where you go left off the dunbar and entrance off the big lake or field and the hotsprings itself?

I am bringing coffee with creamer and sugar. Didn't plan on Tea, and don't plan to go to town today, so if anyone wants tea, they should bring it.

I will not see you guys at breakfast at Sourdough's since I live on Murphy Dome Road. I'll see everyone at the Murphy Dome Parking Lot.

Thanks, James
