If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Thanks Darrell,

Did you get past Adventure Road ? Thinking we may need to take a chainsaw along, especially on the section going up the hill to Iowa Dome.

I went from the pull out to the bridge. Its a good bet you will need a chain saw or hand saw on any ride out this way.
Snow did a number on the trees out here.

Definitely bring a chainsaw. Gusts to 70 at our place last night. RWIS site at the highway showed 53. http://www.dot.state.ak.us/iways/roadwe ... &siteId=29

Finally got the groomer going. Put all new sprockets on it, 4 grand, and changed the engine and tranny fluids. It lost a whole bunch of tranny fluid over the summer. Can't figure out where it went or how it got out. Won't do any grooming until wind quits.

Thanks Chuck,

This ride is slated as a Family Ride, but with the winds and probable trees down and weather not sure that is still accurate.

This might be better slated a little tougher than family ride. Plan is to bring chain-saw and be prepared to clear trail and possible have to do some "go around" off the trail at the creek crossings.

We shall see :)

Was down to the pull out today and can you believe it, someone dump a moose head and hide right by the unloading ramp.

Great ride, 9 sleds, 80 miles and good food at Chatanika.

It was 3 above at the pull out when we left and 8 above at Chatanika, can't ask for anything better :)

Great ride. Had an awesome time, except for those blasted trees over the trail.
