Anything left this season?

I know ArcticMan is coming up, but is anybody planning anything for the remaining few weeks of snow we are likely to have?

I bet the Whites would be good for one more weekend, I liked the the Elliott Hwy side at MP 57 for riding better. I'm gonna be on the Denali Hwy this weekend. And hopefully one more weekend after that, Cantwell or Denali Hwy.

Sounds like a good idea, count me in. Mile 57 Elliot should have decent snow left.

Rumor is that the White Mountain area (mile 21-ish) is pretty hard packed/windblown, may still be nice farther up the road at mile 57.

There is a link on the left side of the home page, Alaska trails and cabins. Go to there, then White Mts and they have a map of the trails. There is also a map of the trails at the trailhead. The trails are marked up there.

You all should have a good ride in.

BLM maps on the trails at http://www.blm.gov/pgdata/etc/medialib/ ... nsMap1.pdf

The run into Wolf Run Cabin is about 23 miles and always a good ride.

Enjoy

Did a ride up Chena Hot springs trail yesterday, Trail was in good shape. Check out Angel creek valley and back to truck at 36 mile. 60 mile ride.Four mile loop trail blown shut on 36 mile side.
My guess anything above valley floor will be windy. For your ride into whites.

Day before that went to Blair lake via south Cushman. 92 mile ride Trail ok.

Any know where the B 25 is on the Tanana? Good pic on facebook
