SnoRondy or ?

The SnoRondy is the 9th from Noon to 6:00 PM, that's all the info I have on it.

I'll planning an exploratory trip from Clear Creek Buttes to / towards the Wood River, anyone interested in joining me ?

I'll have more info later in the week as far as meeting location and times.

As discussed yesterday, I should be good to join you. What kind of timeframe are you looking at.

The Rondy is 11-6 March 9th at the Corp of Engineers building at Chena Flood Control Project. Flyers will be out this week. NAOI is coming up with some info on safety, cold weather injury prevention, avalanche assessment, beacon search, etc. If you plan to ride the mountains, it is good practice. The Fairbanks Snowmobile Fun Lions will have there snocross track and be racing throughout the day. We will have the kids 120's track for the safety rodeo. We will have a Pea Pot Run to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters and a Tired Iron Show & Shine. There will be vendors, food from Big Daddy's BBQ and a bonfire to finish the day. Our club co-host's this event and it sure would be nice to have a good club turnout to help put this on. All help is appreciated.

Thanks Tim! It would be nice to get a list of folks who plan to join us so we have an idea of how many we can count on.

Jody,

I will be there. What time do you need the help to show up?

John,

If your ride south from clear Creek Butte is not on the 9th, I would like to come along.

Jody,

Should volunteers bring snowmachines or will everything be within walking distance? Did you want me to work the kiddy track or something else.

Snow machine not needed unless you're a check point on the pea pot run
I don't know how many Jody has signed up for check points
I do know that Joshua & I are avaible
It's going to be a 20 mile run
I would think that there should be at least 4 stops
You should probally stay near base as we don't want you having any issues with your health
This is going to be a fun day for everybody.

Paul, I agree with Peter and you are the "bomb" when it comes to teaching the kids! Must be your authoritative voice!! If you can be in charge of the 120's, it would be great and I'm sure we can get some folks to lend you a hand so you are not stuck there all day.
