Cantwell this Saturday February 2nd

#1 Post by dragonman »

:sledwave: Well I've decided to go to Cantwell Saturday, There is 4 so far going if any one else wants to go just post it.
I will meet and leave Ester scales saturday 7:30am promptly from there we will go to the Igloo first parking area on the right just past the igloo,
The snow is very deep and fresh , so a mountain track will be the best to bring. No mountain climbing - just boon docking

Anyone heard about how deep its got down there? I'm wanting to go, but my girlfriend is afraid she's gonna get stuck too much and hold people up. I'm not worried about it she rode with me all last season and out in the mountains 2 or 3 times. Otherwise we're just going to hit up the gilmore trail ride. What do y'all think?

Billy,
Tell your girlfriend to look us up on Facebook... "Fairbanks Area Ladies Ride" We're having a ladies ride Feb 23 & she'll see a bunch of other women who for one ride in Cantwell, aren't worried about holding up the group.... Also tell her that if she sticks with it since you're not worried & are supportive, that she won't be holding up anyone before long...And my hubby and I are taking a couple who are new to the deep snow out at 191 mile Saturday. If you see a green M7 running with a black turbo & 2 RMKs, please say hi:)

Thanks, i will let her know! Yeah her ability in riding is pretty good, she did just fine out at Mclaren, and the clearwater mts out by alpine creek lodge last year. Maybe we will meet up with your group sometime. If we make it out on saturday, we woth both be out on green crossfire 8's. :grtruckn:
