This was to be a Summit ride, but no ride leader. Anyone have a ride they would like to do?

I'll do a RT.

We should be able to use the old 10 Mile Merchantile lot, if we can get in. I'll try and make it by there to see what the lot looks like.

If not, maybe park down on Adventure Road near the gravel pit or if nothing else, park on Nordale and run the Winter Trail to the road to CHSR.

10 mile Mercantile is no longer open. Someone plowed part of the driveway / in front of the building and there is a bus someone is living in. No way to get to the ramp either. I do not recommend trying to park at 10 mile Mercantile.

I'm up for going on this ride, as soon as there's a decent place to park.

Tony, John,

The miners are plowing the Fairbanks Creek road. I talked to the cat operator yesterday and he said they would leave us some space on the side. They just started this afternoon and I suspect they might be working on it tomorrow. Two weeks ago we broke out Margaret's Trail. Last weekend we rode it to pack it wider. Tonight Mikie and I are going to pull my FST style groomer down it and come back up it. I think you've been down it with me before John. Anyway that is an option if you want to go that way. Just ride on down to the Steese when you pass our place and take the Pedro Dome Road around the Cleary Summit Subdivision to where the power line to Chatanika crosses it. We'll start grooming there so you can follow our track down the power line and on to the lodge. I'll post a report when we get back from the Lodge.

We groomed Margaret's Trail tonight and all is well. Had a Dredgeburger at the lodge and came home.

Have a good run tomorrow. Stop by and I'll have the coffee on.

John,

I just resent the track. The first one had a couple of wayward track points in it. Don't know where they came from.
