Treasurer Hunt in the flats

#1 Post by john »

This is a GPS use run. In short you'll need a GPS to find the hidden treasurer :).

Not 100% sure how were going to do this one, as far as hunt/find/keep goes. I'll have it figured out by the morning of the 29th :)

What I do need is some help. Someone good with a GPS and mapping our hide spots. I have the week of 21st off, so figured we'd go out on the 26th or 27th and start hiding and marking places for the hunt.

Any volunteers, course if you help me you can't hunt, you'll be an "official" 8)

Ooops, just noticed that I got my dates crossed. The treasure hunt was suppose to be the 22nd., but with the weather conditions and the fact that we haven't been able to get across the Tanana to set things, this one is going to be canceled.

Sorry.

Do I get to keep all the presents

Hey, maybe by Christmas we'll be able to cross the Tanana, much better snow on that side of the flats then we had across from So. Cushman.

True, lets just hope it doesn't last through January and February.

Since the official ride appears to be cancelled for Saturday - Anyone going out on an unofficial ride Saturday? Looking at the weather it is supposed to warm up some and maybe even dare I say snow?

Jeff,

If it warms up I'd like to ride somewhere.
