Membership Benefits?

#1 Post by TheBearAk »

Is there some read me or something that talks about the club and what benefits there are for joining?

Not that I know of. But probably get more than you do for a snowmachine Registration and nobody threatens to fine you if you don't join.

As I see the club requirements.
Have fun.
if you get lost, be happy... somebody else is at work
if you get lost on a club ride, you'll have a lot of friends to laugh with.
if you run outa gas, be happy somebodies at work
if you run outa gas on a club ride, you can always bum some from the four stroke guys
if you flip your sled. you have to right it by-ur-self
if you flip your sled on a club ride, somebody will up-right it before you get up
if you need cheering up. some-one in the club will.
ussally good rides,
good food.
lots of teasing.
need i say more

Good one Tony! What do other members think they get out of the club?

If you look on the left side of the web site, under org. by-laws, are the benefits and responsibilities of club members. I hope this helps anyone interested. :fluffly: STONEY.

I think some of the best benefits of the club are networking with people, meeting good friends, and all the knowledge of the club. Getting out in the Alaska back country and just exploring and learning the areas that other people don't take the time and effort to go and see. I met so many good people up here in the 3 years I've been here. Mostly through the club, Trek over the top, and Alpine Creek Lodge. And ridning up here with the club has vastly improved my riding skills, knowledge of riding, and riding safety in the back country.

I know the social portion of the club is important to many members. But I value the organizations ability to respond to attacks on our ability to do what so many love to do in Alaska. Which is try to enjoy it, by the method which they chose and not to exclude any one method over another.
