New to Fairbanks

#1 Post by hollywood »

Hello Everyone!!

I just moved to Fairbanks a year ago. I haven't done a lot of riding in the last few years and have only put around 200 miles on my new sled this year. I've enjoyed the two rides I've been on with you guys and I appreciate the 'laid-back' vibe of the group. I love riding and wish the winter was still around for a few more months,posting.php?mode=post&f=49&sid=a61932dc ... 2456551268# but I'm trying to get in as much riding now as possible before the snow is gone.

I enjoy trail riding just as much as hitting the deep powder.

Other hobbies include vehicle restoration, flying airplanes and helicopters and most recently I've been constructing my own two-seat helicopter.

Thanks for the great rides guys!! I appreciate it.

I've heard about people going to the mountains and riding in June.

Cantwell and Summit should be good through April and May, June is possible but pushing it :)

Maybe June last spring, but at the rate we're going now might be done by late April/early May if we're lucky!
