To all,

Just move to North Pole from Grand Forks ND. I ride a Polaris 500XC. Any good trails up here?

Not really much for trails. There are lots of places to ride though. When you get a chance get on the global and look up kenneth russel. He is the guy that teaches the safety class on base.

We have Alaskan style trails mostly anyway. You ride it, pack down the snow and you got a trail

There are some good trail systems in the White Mtns, Chatanika area, and Chena Rec Area, tend to be rough most times, but nice country to see.

As usafracer said though, a lot of us like the powder and you can take some trails to really nice powder areas. Have you joined FST ??? If not you should and you'll get the monthly newsletter with ride listing, both trail and non-trail riding.

After the river freezes the Tanana Flats are good riding, but no trail system except what folks make on their own.

Just don't expect the kind of trails you've ridden ND, as rule most don't get groomed and can be a bit on the narrow side.

In a good winter we will ride almost every good trail in this area. Riding with us is the easy way to learn your way around here.
