This is an access issue, that I think is important to anyone that gets off the beaten track and out of urban Alaska. I made a donation. If you value the ability to travel where you want to go, by the convenience of your choice; maybe you will to.

Tim is correct, in a similar matter, it was the ASSA fighting the Feds about ANILCA that kept the Cantwell area open to snowmachining, the Nat Park Service tried to close the Broad pass area (just south of Cantwell) to snowmachiners, it cost the ASSA $100,000.00 to fight them, but they did win.
