I will be leading the ride. The start will be at the end of Gilmore trail road. I will go out and see how the conditions are tomorrow and report back. I am also asking if everyone can bring a stick of fire wood. We will try and get a fir going down at the mine.

Parking is at the end of Gilmore Trail. I don't know for sure if Larry is planning on parking at the end of the paved portion or further in, he could answer that better. Steve and I rode the trail two weeks ago, the trail was nice, a lot shorter than we remembered from the summer trail clearing ride. He did a little brushing on the way in, it could use more but we really didn't take the right tools. From that trail, there are others that go all over the area.

Go steese to steele cr-Halgeburger rd. turn right. go 200yds to gilmore trail rd and turn left. We will meet at the turn out past the end of the the pavement. I will be there about 9:30. Bring a stick of fire wood.

It is approximately 5 miles to the edge of pavement.

Also, I will be checking weather and posting a go or no go. Right now they are talking a high of -20. If that happens I will cancel and do research and write about the social history of Bourbon.

While the DOT Road Weather Site is still down you can see the Cleary Summit Weather here:

It's cold and windy!
