BEAR 1 Payload Recovery

Thursday I helped the Arctic Amateur Radio Club members recover the payload from a balloon they launched from Poker Flat. It was located about 3 miles north of mile 14 on the Circle Trail. Check it out here:

The Circle Trail has dried out quite a bit and was a good ride. The last mile and a half to the payload was rough with tundra and burned spruce forest.
