As of Monday,
From the Cantwell side....The road is plowed to mile 99. (30 miles shy of the Sue river)
From the Paxson side.... plowed to Tangle lakes. Predict you will able to drive to Maclaren by next weekend. (April 17th)..... And to Alpine creek via Cantwell.

And now its snowing..... Go figure.

Folks going to Cantwell should have a nice ride by or south of the Igloo.

This from Susie at Maclaren today. Valdez Creek is on the east bank of the Susitna River. Rock Creek is mile 24 on the Denali Highway at the Landmark Gap Trail Head.

Hey guys, the Denali Highway is open beyond Tangle – they were at Rock Creek last night and should be beyond there by the end of today.

I hear the miners are through to Valdez creek on the other side and that the road crew is right behind them.

Should not be long until the road is open all the way.

Susie
