Today from Alan- :singing:

Hello everyone,

Well we are finely getting some more snow, which is a great thing because we need it badly. We have not received much snow since the last report, maybe 2 inches, but it’s snowing pretty hard right now and we’ve gotten about 2 more inches today so far. So lets keep our fingers crossed that it keeps this up.

I talked to Audie Bakewell in Paxson today, and he reported getting about 4 inches there.

The Denali Hwy still has some bad spots on it, but with this new snow, we might be able to get it packed down so it will stay. The road is in good shape to 10 mile and then from there to 16 mile you have to dodge the bare sections where the wind has blown the snow away. We are going to try and pack those sections. From 16 mile to 62 mile is great, and then there is a section between 62 and Brushkana that does not have much snow on it.

Right now all other trails in the area, with the exception of the river trails, do not really have enough snow on them to ride safely. You can ride them, but have to be really careful of the rocks.

COME ON SNOW!!!!!!
