I spent all day today digging out. Just took a short ride down the Fairbanks Creek Road, there's 20 inches of new snow, it was coming over my cowling and windshield on my Skandic.

I went out to Chena lakes last week prior to the additional snow fall. There was enough snow to putt around and get familiar with the machine and let the wife also ride and get familiar with it as well. I parked down by the river park area and buzzed around there and also out to the lake area. There are a few sticks here and there but seems to bee enough snow to get along in for some short play time on flat ground...

I know you don't have a trailer, but the best snow so far is up on top. If you can, drive your sled up to Cleary Summit and ride the Fairbanks Creek Road and trails, just stay on the ridges. The powder was nice up there Sat. but that won't last long as more folks pack it down.
