Yo sled heads
the white mountains is the place to ride local right now!
went there yesterday afternoon and the snow was great arrived 3ish and got out after 10pm. the trails are packed a bit bumpy , ridding off trail requires POWER and LONG TRACKS we hit places that the snow was 2 ft,deep and then others that 5 to 6 feet was the average . I plan on going back this sat,
be there or be square.!
No track and engine? what's the point?

Went to McKay Creek Trailhead off the Steese today and I concur. There's a TON of snow just 6 miles from the trailhead it goes from 2.5 to 3' of snow all the way up to 4.5 to 5' of pow. The trail has 4 to 6" on it and is smooth and fast. We had first tracks today and only had to share the trail with a Cow and Calf moose. On the top of the domes u easily sink to your waist when stepping off the trail.

Enjoy!
