As you can see from the photos John just posted we sunk the Chatanika LMC Groomer in the Chatanika River where the Yellow Trail crosses the river  . Not to worry! After pulling it out of the river and changing the transmission oil we drove it back to Chatanika :D . There is a river crossing just 100 yards downstream from the old one and we have tested it by driving two Tucker Sno-Cats as well as the LMC accross it. The ice at the regular crossing was only 2 to 4 inches thick. This is a wierd year. Be very careful on all rivers and lakes.

We have lots of snow on Cleary Summit and all the trails and roads up here are in good shape.

You guys do a great job out there be safe.
Note the Tanana has had some overflowing this year and with this new snow, could get worse.
