Stolen Machines

#1 Post by rocketdoc637 »

My sleds were stolen from the Recreation Storage lot on Fort Wainwright. Came home to a message on the answering machine saying the lot had been broken into and to check my stuff and get with the MP's if any thing was missing. Well sure enough. They took both the 2008 Orange Crossfire SnoPro and the 2004 Panther 370 Two-Up.
Guess nothing is safe anywhere any more.

I think they are probably long gone. The MPS are currently investigating several losses out there from the last couple of weeks.

I don't suppose since this was on federal property that
1. This becomes a federal offense
2. actually investigated?

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Darell,

Good idea, let me give it some thought and come up with something for a Be On The Lookout section.

Did you ever get any news regarding your stolen machines? It sure would be nice to catch some of these thieves. Well, and then have the courts do something about it....

I have been meaning to post for a couple of days. Thieves got nervous and dumped them off on Eilsen Farm Road last Weds morning. The troopers found them. Still working on the investigation and they have some good leads. The MP Investigator called me today and said JAG told them I could pick them up. I was about 1 day from getting paid from the Insurance company.
