Arctic Man 2009

#1 Post by Christien&Shelbye »

Arctic Man is drawing near. This will be Shelbye's and my first year going. And we are looking forward to it!

I'd like to bring 3 of our 4 machines down but really only have room for 2 with firewood and all the other necessities we will be bringing. Anyone willing to haul one of my sleds down for some gas money reimbursement? If not I'm probably going to just haul less wood and purchase some when we get there.

We are heading down Tuesday April 7th and returning the following Monday. We have space 819 on the runway (White Dodge Ram 1500 & Green 4 Season Dbl Wall Tent) and if anyone wants to look us up and go for a ride or maybe even play tour guide and show us the area we'd appreciate it.

Anyone else going?

This will be my first year as well. I will be bringing a vertical escape 700 or my dragon 800 short track. probably be the only one up there with a real (tall) windshield on it  I have yet to bug my buddy about taking up space on his trailer.

You guys have a parking spot reserved yet?

I'll be bringing a old '97 Mountain Max 700 that I spent the last couple months fixing up, the wifes 2000 Mountain Max 700 that rips as always, and then my 02 800 RMK. Going to be selling all 4 of my sleds here beginning of next season and upgrading to newer Yamaha's. Probably a Nytro for myself and either a Phazer or 2uper for the wife.

If you want to do some riding look us up when u get down there. I plan on putting some serious miles on while I'm down there. Might even race over to McClaren to get away from it all for a afternoon.

2 Weeks Away! We are stoked!

If you go to the arctic man website there is a spot for parting registration, Due to things beyond my control I forgot to register my 4 spots this year,,, BIG OPPS! and have been told that there are still spots to be had. I also have two 4 place trailers that I would rent for the event
if interested give me a call

How much would you be willing to rent 1 one those 4 place trailers out for? It would allow me to use my truck bed for wood instead of a 3rd machine thus saving me from having to purchase any wood down there. Might work out to be cheaper. Toss me a PM and let me know.

Thanks,

Christien

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
