Snow Rondy

#1 Post by dragonman »

:singing: Today was a perfect day for the Rondy - Very warm temps and sunny!
There were several hundred people there today They came in vehicles, snowmachines, and Atv's
All events went well, the little 120's got a work out , there was a steady flow of little ones wanting to try them out.
All the food was gone by the end of the day.
The pea pot run was steady there was a little mixup with one check point, but Stony fixed that.
We did need more room for the Avalanche training, the room was packed
There were only a few pallets left from the bon fire that burned all day.
The donations for the general drawing and pea pot run were fantastic.

I want to Thank Jody & Steve for all their time put into this very successiful event. Thank You

I also want to thank all of the volenteers that we had today. They made today a fun day for everyone there. Thank You

The Core of Engineers also did a fantastic job preparing their property for this event. ThankYou Tim and crew

I want to thank everyone who came out to lend a hand for helping make this years Rondy a fun (although a little fattening, lol) day for all involved. Bryan from NAOI did a great job with the Avalanche class, he said he had a blast too, more to come next year! The kids from the Fun Lions put on quite a show and as usual were a treat to watch. The crew from North Star Volunteer Fire Department with their sexy trailer, you guys and gals rock! The crew at the Corp, always work their tails off and what a great bunch to work with, I can't thank you enough. For all the Snow Travelers that came out, you did an awesome job! And for all the folks that took pictures, I can't wait to see them all!!!
