From Crystal:

Hello fellow Fairbanks Snow Travelers!

I tried sending this out a few days ago, but it doesn't seem like it has been received, so I'm sending it again. I apologize if you get multiple copies.

The Go Winter! Expo will be this weekend, October 8 and 9, at the Carlson Center. Saturday's hours are 10am to 6 pm, and Sunday is 11 am to 5 pm. FST will have a booth at the Expo, so make sure to swing by and say hello! Renew your membership for only $20 at the show, and if you are interested in manning the booth on Saturday or Sunday, just shoot me an email of when you would like to cover the booth.

Newsletters went out today, so you should see your newsletter sometime later this week. If you didn't, and you know you renewed last year, please let me know.

Thanks!

Go Winter! Expo this weekend!

Keep in mind that this will be the last paper newsletter you will receive unless you specifically ask for yours via the mail when you renew your membership. We voted on this last year, the cost of supplies and postage eats a huge portion of our funds and we were getting a large percentage returned due to wrong addresses, stapled incorrectly or any other reason the USPS could come up with. The newsletter is available online here on the website and on our Facebook page. If you wish to continue receiving a paper copy of the newsletter, there will be a section on the membership renewal form to request it.

As an FYI, The Iron Dog will also have a booth at the show this year and Tyler Huntington will be there with his winning sled..

I think they'll also be showing the Iron Dog movie of the 2010 race.

Will the Iron doggers be selling their movie of last years race? I see they are showing it at the Anchorage out door show..
If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Not sure on that one, I think its a coryright issue.

Stop by the booth, after you renew at the FST booth of course, and ask Kevin (ID Director), he'll be here both days.

Darrell,

They were also showing it at the Go Winter show here, so you missed it..

However, the DVD will be released around Thanksgiving and I asked Kevin (the director) to consider sending some up to the different clubs for members to purchase. Cost is estimated to be about $15.00 each.
