Serum Run '25 still has openings for snowmachiners. Are you interested in a 19 day trip from Nenana to Nome? Snowmachiners support mushers on this re-trace of the historic serum delivery of 1925. It is about 765 miles and starts on February 22nd in Nenana and ends (tentatively) March 12th in Nome. This is not a race, but a team effort. Fees this year are estimated to be $2600, which include cabin, camping fees (except for Nenana and Nome), 2 meals at Beaver Point lodge, 2 nights in Galena with 3-4 meals provided, banquet in Nome, shipping of snowmachines and loaded cargo sleds back to Anchorage and after the 1st 3 days: Gas, oil, and heat for snowmachines.

We are also accompanying a medical mission team which will be speaking at each village about stroke prevention.

More information can be found at http://www.serumrun.org/ or contact me heather (@) havelmark.com.

Thanks!

You ought to send this to Tim Mowry at the News-Miner and ask him to run it.
