Yukon Quest Help 2008!

#1 Post by Shane »

All the folks that volunteered for the 1,000 mile race need to show up around 9am on Feb 9 at the Elk's Lodge. The race doesn't start until 11am but parking will be easier and we need to get everyone lined out. I have the rigging for the machines-to-sled hook-ups just bring your helmet and your largest FST patch. The 300 mile race start the sameday at 5pm I could still use some more help for that race. If anyone has any questions just post them hear or call me.
Shane @ 388-3880 thanks

Shane,

I was going to ride over there, but with this severe cold I would rather trailer over there. Will there be enough room for me to park my truck and trailer at the Elk's Lodge, or will I need to park somewhere else?

QUEST HELP

#10 Post by OPA »

Shane,
I am sory for the late notice but I will now be unable to help at the quest. It's not the cold. My wife fell (in the driveway of all places) :( , and broke her knee cap and ankle. Bad luck.

Heyas Shane sorry didn't make it. The sled was not recovered. I'm sure it's in pieces by now.( I haven't the heart to ride ATM.... I did miss out on the opportunity to help this year, and it truly saddens me.

Hopefully i'll be in better moods and join you guys on sunday.
