Yukon Quest Help

#1 Post by john »

The Yukon Quest folks need our help again in getting the dogs started out of Fairbanks.

We could use 6 or so sleds on Feb 9, 08 to help them them out. I've helped the last 2 years they started the race from FB and it's fun to be a part of the race and help the mushers out.

If you show up, make sure you have a helmet. Shawn has the tow ropes, so all you need to do is bring your sled with good brakes :)

Shane,

You can put me on your list. What time do we have to be where?

Thanks John and Paul for volunteering. On Feb 9th we will meet in the Elks Parking lot around 8am if my memory is correct. I will post better details closer to the race. John Lubben, Richard Lubben, Greg and his son have already signed-up to help, so if anyone would like to be an alternete please let me know. A lot can happen between now and then.

Thank Everyone
Shane

Who is the P.O.C. Shane?
I briefed the NLSC group this week and two folks are interested. Do we have an E-mail account I can forward to them?

Thanks

My Son and I volunteered two years ago. We'd be happy to do it again.
